PUBG Mobile LITE System Requirements For Android Devices

We’ll say it again: PUBG Mobile seems to be doing better with its core audience than its desktop counterpart. In fact, the mobile game seems to be in such high demand that the developers felt the need to create in much higher demand that its developers, the folks over at Tencent, decided to create another version of the game to expand its reach to more devices. The game’s three graphics presets run swimmingly on relatively recent mid-range to high-end devices, but that still leaves out a host of low-end, older smartphones and tablets.

Dubbed PUBG Mobile LITE, the new release fills that void by tailoring the original game’s battle royale experience for budget devices. It achieves this with a smaller, 2x2km map that can accommodate a maximum of 40 players per match. The game is available to download for free on the Android Play Store, though only in Philippines as of this writing. If you’d rather not wait for the game to be officially rolled out to your region’s Play Store, you can acquire the APK and game data for the same from a multitude of sources around the Web and simply sideload it to your device.

Before you do that, however, you might want to check if your old device is indeed able to run the app without issues. The following are the minimum system requirements for PUBG Mobile LITE.

PUBGM LITE Android System Requirements

Note that the game’s Play Store description does not quote any system requirements apart from the size of the initial download (the APK) and the compatible Android firmware. The following is based off of user reports from around the web.

Android firmware version: 4.0.3 and up

Memory (RAM): 1GB or more

Size/Storage: ~280MB

The initial download amounts to 30MB while an additional ~250MB of game data is downloaded the first time PUBG Mobile LITE is launched.
